How We Plan To Support The All Night Café in Camberley

Read about our first meeting with The All Night Café here

Our previous blog on The All Night Café For The Homeless informed of our first meet with Carole and how the local community and businesses could help support their great cause providing food and shelter to homeless veterans and those in need.

We’ve discussed how we can help as a family and also as a small business and I’m delighted to share this with you.

As a family, time is tight as my wife is employed in the care industry, therefore works nights and weekends and we have kids. So volunteer work is simply impossible for us. We therefore decided the best way to support The All Night Café was by way of donations of food and funds. We’ll drop off produce on an ad hoc basis and have set up a standing order for a small amount to support the Café’s fixed rental costs.

As a small business, we decided the only real way to support the Café is financial. To start with, we’ve set up a standing order for a small amount to support the Café’s fixed rental costs. As our business grows, so will our fixed contributions. In addition to this, we’ve decided to take part in a physical challenge in order to raise funds; this will likely be in the form of a marathon or two. More to follow on this one…

We believe the contributions made by my family and our small business will shelter all the homeless veterans and those in need at The All Night Café for one night each month. Whilst we hope to increase our business contribution as we grow, we’re also conscious that there may be other people in the community or indeed businesses that would like to support The All Night Café in the same manner. If this is the case, please contact them directly as all donations would be gratefully received.

“Unity is strength…when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.” Mattie Stepanek
